At Vintage, we believe that every person is equipped with unique, God-given gifts and talents, that each person has a vital role to play in the Church, and that only together can we accomplish the work set before us of building God's Kingdom on Earth. Creative Encounter Team (CET)

The Creative Encounters Team is a group of creative individuals who work together to brainstorm and design elements for Sunday night services. They strive to create ways for those who come to Vintage to engage and worship the Lord. By using the Truth of the Gospel, creative work is designed to enhance a specific teaching and series. The Creative Encounters Team welcomes artists and creative minds of all genres including: writers, musicians, filmmakers, photographers, painters and even those occasional dabblers. This group is for all of those who would like to use their gifts to craft Sunday night services. The CET meets the first Thursday night of each month to brainstorm.

Road Crew

This Team provides the set-up and technical needs at Vintage. They coordinate the lights and sound system for Sunday nights, and serve as the "road crew" who set up and tear down our entire operation for our Sunday Church experience each week.

Music Team

The music team is composed of many talented musicians that are dedicated to using their talents for the purpose of honoring God and helping others connect with God every Sunday night through musical worship.

Media Team

Vintage is a Church that values the Arts, and we seek to use the media arts to help create our worship environment on Sunday nights. We are always looking for anyone who is Computer and Media savvy (or willing to learn) who would like to help run the slides during our services, or who would like to help create original reflection pieces or videos for Sunday nights.

First Impressions

Looking for a way to meet a whole lot of new people? Got a love for hospitality? This team of greeters makes sure everyone feels welcome when they first come through the door at the Lawrence Arts Center each Sunday night, by offering a smile, hello and a good cup of coffee.

Identity Team

Do you have any PR experience? Graphic design? The I-team exists to communicate who Vintage is to people within our church and within the Lawrence community by creating the ads you see in the paper, the fliers you receive after services on occasion, the signs that tell you where to go, and this very website you are (hopefully) reading thoroughly.

Assimilation Team

This group is for anyone who has a heart for getting folks connected into the community at Vintage! The Assimilation Team makes sure anyone who fills out a Connect Card gets plugged in/followed up with by someone in our church.

Operations Team

This team takes care of sending out the church email updates, updating and printing the bulletins every Sunday night, managing the Web site calendar, and many other logistical issues.

Prayer Team

Prayer is one of those things that can be really hard to understand and explain. The Vintage Prayer Team explores the mystery of prayer by being in conversation with God, both out loud and in silence, in community and in solitude. We believe that the very direction and outcome of Vintage, Lawrence, and the rest of the world depend on God. Taking this to heart we lay out our requests, thanksgiving, and praises to Him through prayer, thus giving Him total control over our lives, our church, and our world.

Discipleship Team

At Vintage, our goal is to fulfill both halves of the Great Commission by reaching people for God and by bringing people to full devotion as disciples of Christ in our Church. If this latter goal causes your pulse to quicken, consider joining us watching as God transforms peoples' lives around our Church!

Student Ministry

We believe one of our primary callings as a Church is to reach and equip the next generation, and this extends to High School and Junior High School aged students. We have an ever-growing, changing, and expanding ministry for these students, so please don't hesitate to contact us about getting you or your child involved, and better yet, consider becoming part the student ministry or joining the student ministry team!
